Learn to Discern

Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J. of Ave Maria University gives his talk at the 2015 Courage Conference at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL called “Learn to Discern: Christian Decision-Making with St. Ignatius”. He gives a crash course on Jesuit discernment which helps us in finding the will of God, obtaining the grace to do His will and then actually doing it.


Forgiveness in a Wounded World

Sr. J. Sheila Galligan, I.H.M. of Immaculata University gives her talk titled “Forgiveness: The Name of Love in a Wounded World” at the 2015 Courage Conference at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL. She relates the need for forgiveness of our offenses to God, our sins, to that of the need to forgive the mutual offenses between us and others. We need to imitate Our Merciful Lord to heal our wounded world.

Courage member Blake S. gives his testimony at the 2015 Courage Conference about how he was surprised that he did not find satisfaction when acting on his same sex attraction and how he returned to the faith. He relates his joys and challenges since then, and the very practical lesson he learned, that God is the fulfillment of all our desires.
